CAB: Patent Assistant Certificate 2023/2024

Objectives:
-- CAB: Module I Pres (14:00 p.m.) --
- Know the general notions of intellectual property law in France.
- Identify the main industrial property rights and situate them within French law.
- Understand the challenges of industrial property for the company and identify the tools at its disposal.
- Know the different models of organization of industrial property in the company


-- CAB: Module II Dist (21:00 p.m.) --
- Know the constituent parts of the deposit and the deposit phase.
- Master the phases of reception, admissibility, authorization to disclose;
- Know the administrative and technical examination phases.
- Know how and under what conditions to rectify a patent application file;
- Control the consequences of the publication;
- Master the phase of establishment and response to the preliminary research report;
- Mastering the patent issuance phase;
- Master the means of recourse;
- Know the National Patent Registry;
- Know the procedures for maintaining patents and SPCs in force (general rules and special cases).

- Know how to file an international application;
- Identify the actors and stages of the international phase;
- Become familiar with international research;
- Master the theme of amendments to an international application;
- Know the main PCT fees and payment deadlines;
- Know the main steps for entering the national phase;
- Know how to withdraw an international application on time.

- Know the formalities for filing an EP patent application;
- Know the formalities for issuing and validating an EP patent;
- Know the registration formalities;
- Know how to calculate a deadline and know the possible solutions in case of non-respect of this deadline;
- Know the formalities for researching and publishing an EP patent application;
- Know the formalities for examining an EP patent application;
- Know the formalities for filing an opposition;
- Know the procedures for limitation, renovation and appeal.

- Know the available databases and know how to use them.
- Master the online registration formalities.
- Master the formalities of electronic filing with the various offices.
- Master the formalities of payment of annuities online.
- Prepare for the final evaluation.

Evaluate the knowledge acquired during the training.
Mixed: face-to-face (INPI - 97 Boulevard Carnot Lille) and remotely depending on the modules

CAM: Trademarks, Designs and Models Assistant Certificate 2023/2024

Objectives:
-- CAM: Module I (14 p.m.) --
- Know the general notions of French law.
- Identify the main industrial property rights and situate them within French law.
- Understand the challenges of industrial property for the company and the tools available.
- Know the different models of organization of industrial property in the company.

-- CAM: Module II (21:00 p.m.) --
- Know the conditions of protection and the procedures for filing trademarks, designs in France;
- Mastering the different stages of trademark registration and renewal procedures;
- Master the different stages of the registration and extension procedures of the design;
- Master the opposition procedure;
- Master the litigation procedure.

-- CAM: Module III (14 p.m.) --
- Know the conditions of protection and the procedures for filing the trademark in Europe;
- Know the characteristics, filing procedures and the existence of the European Union trademark.
- Know the conditions of protection and filing of a Community design;
- Know the procedure for filing a Community design.

-- CAM: Module IV (21 p.m.) --
- Understand the challenges of the international brand;
- Master the procedure for filing an international trademark;
- Know the progress and deadlines of the international registration procedure;
- Control events subsequent to international registration (dependency, designation, subsequent limitations), registration and renewal.

-- CAM: Module V (14 p.m.) --
- Discover the online tools of the INPI;
- Know the databases available and know how to use them;
- Prepare for the final evaluation.

-- CAM: Module VI (07:00) --
Evaluate the knowledge acquired during the training.
Mixed - face-to-face and remotely depending on the modules
